Can Head of B and W Companion Fixed Hitch also Fit on Companion Slider Base
Question:
I currently have a BandW companion hitch for my 8 ft bed factory ford super duty puck system, Im thinking of going with a short box, can i just buy the sliding base and use my jaw portion of my current hitch ?

You can take the head of your fixed B and W Companion hitch and install it on a B and W Slider base part # BWRVB3405 and you'd be set. But you might also consider how much easier it would be to resell a complete Companion hitch instead of just the fixed base. In that case it would be better to go with an entirely new slider Companion hitch part # BWRVK3400.
