Can Two 6 Volt Trailer Batteries Power the Stromberg Carlson Electric Jack

Can a Stromberg Carlson Electric Jack be wired to a 2 6volt batteries in tandem system on a travel trailer or is 12 volt batteries needed to run the jack?

If the 2 6-volt batteries were wired in parallel which would double their voltage to 12 volts you could use them to power the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 as it does require 12 volt batteries to run.
I attached a picture that shows how batteries wired in parallel and in series are wired up.
