Right Turn Signal Only Flashes with Brake Applied

Ahoy there, When right indicater on nothing happens but then when I turn the brakes on with the indicater the brakes start flashing!

If you are using the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit part # 119178KIT which is the page that you asked the question from then there would appear to be an error in the wiring. For starters, the above can be installed in one of two ways depending on if the vehicle has separate or combined brake and turn signals. If the vehicle has separate brake and turn signals then the yellow and green wires will go to the right and left turn signal circuits and the red wire will go to the stop light circuit. If the vehicle has combined brake and turn signals then the yellow and green wires will go to the right and left turn/stop signal circuits. The red wire will not be ran if you have combined brake and turn signals. In order to make sure you have the proper turn and brake signal wires you will need to test them beforehand with a circuit tester.

Please also make sure that the ground you have chosen is sufficient as that will be the next thing to check.
