Will ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness Draw Power Without Trailer Connected
Question:
Does the converter draw any amperage when no trailer is connected? I am considering adding a relay to power this to ignition because Im concerned about parasitic draw on battery .

No, the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT will not draw any power on your 2013 Harley Davidson Tri Glide after installation unless a trailer is connected to the tow vehicle. Basically, the black wire draws power from the battery so it will always be "hot", but this is no different than a 12V circuit that you'd plug an accessory in or that exists on most pickups today.
