When an electric jack will either no longer move or is VERY HARD to move the issue is the jack's lifespan has simply reached its conclusion. If an electric jack cannot be moved by hand that means it has internal components that are damaged so it does need to be fixed; if your jack is still under warranty you can contact the manufacturer, or there are cost-effective but high-quality jacks that will be great options.

I recommend the Electric Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 25-1/8" Lift - 3,500 lbs which comes in your choice of colors, White # EJ-3520-WBX or Black # EJ-3520-BBX.

This will give you a sturdy, durable jack that with a 3,500 lb capacity and easy bolt-on installation without requiring a large investment. I have added a link to a video review of the jacks which I recommend checking out.
