Wire Colors for a Jet Ski Trailer

Brown/ white wire jet ski trailer

It sounds like you are trying to determine which wire has winch function on your trailer. If that is the case then the color is more or less irreverent as the trailer manufacturer could have used any color they want for the respective signals. Therefore, the only true way to determine function is to apply 12 volt power to each wire and see which light it illuminates.
I will however say that the white wire is usually a ground and the brown wire is usually for the running lights.
