The towing mirrors that I recommend for your 2004 Toyota Tundra are the Longview # CTM4000 which come in a pair and are custom fit so they slip on over your OEM mirrors for a nice, clean look.
Then for a brake controller I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 with the Plug-In Adapter # 3040-P. The Primus IQ is a great proportional brake controller that is cost-effective yet doesn't lack quality. It is very reliable which you can see from the customer reviews and easy to use as you can see from the linked installation video on a similar 2006 Tundra.
