Will the Curt E16 5th Wheel Hitch Fit a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500

Hi, I have a 2006 Dodge 2500 megacab. I already have a hitch and Curt rails installed in my truck. Will this hitch fit down in the existing rails or will I need to install a new system?

Yes, the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # 16516 will fit into the existing base rails you have installed on your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 MegaCab. The Curt E16 is designed to be used with industry standard above bed base rails. If you have Curt above bed base rails then they will have the industry standard dimensions/spacing as that is all that Curt offers.
I have attached a photo with the industry standard dimensions/spacing just as a reference.
