If your Hopkins Agility Trailer Brake Controller part # HM47294 will not allow you to adjust the power settings then this means there is an internal short and it will need to be replaced as they are not serviceable. For this, I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3035-P.
