Curt Trailer Hitch Installation on 2016 BMW X4
Question:
Hi, I purchased the Curt trailer hitch and got it installed at a local auto body shop. They gave me the bumper beam reinforcement and told me the Curt kit came with one. I never opened the box so I can’t tell if this is correct. Could you please confirm?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13316 has a crossbar that may appear to be a replacement but the bumper beam assembly needs to be reinstalled. I'm not quite sure what reinforcement you are referring to but the hitch doesn't come with anything other than the hitch and some replacement rivets. The other components may need to be trimmed but should be reinstalled. I've attached the installation instructions that includes photos to assist.
