Trailer Tail Lights Dim When Brake Pedal Is Depressed
Question:
My tail lights go dim when I apply the break

Expert Reply:
The most likely cause of the tail lights dimming when the brake pedal is depressed will be attributed to a poor ground. Therefore, in order to fix this issue you will need to either try and clean the ground point or run a separate ground wire from each tail light up to the trailer connector. This should then fix your issue but if it does not then please just let me know and I would be happy to further troubleshoot this issue for you. If you need extra wire to run the separate grounds and then a ring terminal to attach it to the main trailer ground then you can use part # 10-1-1 and part # DW05705-1.
