How To Install the Thinline LED Trailer Tail Light STL59RB As a Third Brake Light

Question:

Can the above light be used as a 3rd brake light only and if so what is the best way to wire it up. I want a good light to replaced the on on my motorhome which is 9x1inch approx. and I dont need this to act as a turn light signal.

If you only need to use the Thinline LED Trailer Tail Light part # STL59RB as a third brake light then you can do so. The white wire will need to be attached to a ground and then the red wire can be attached to the stop light circuit. Please note that most trailers use a combined stop/turn circuit so in that case you will also need the Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module part # PP20-702 to separate this. In order to attach the light you will need part # DW05744-5.
