Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2018 Ram 2500 6-1/2 ft Bed
Question:
I have a Draw Tite 5th wheel head. Will it fit in your rails? What kit do I need for a Ram 2500 6 1/2 bed diesel?

The Draw Tite hitch you have now will fit into the rails of the Curt kit part # C16420 that you referenced. But for a rail kit that is a fit for your 2018 Ram 2500 short bed you'd want the part # C16427-204 instead as unlike the kit you mentioned this one does fit your truck. Since it's a custom fit kit it will install in much less time and will minimize drilling which is why I recommend it over a universal style that will be much more involved and difficult to install.
I attached an install video link to this page for you to check out as well.
