Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendation for 2016 Chrysler Town and Country  

Question:

What roof rack would you recommend for a 2016 Chrysler TandC that would accommodate two kayaks and, if possible, my existing 58-inch Thule load bars? Would this add-on system withstand normal highway speeds?

Thule has a square bar roof rack that fits your 2016 Chrysler Town and Country with the part numbers # TH712500, # TH480R, and # THKIT1043. This rack uses the new style of Thule square bars that have a channel that runs on the underside of the crossbar and would not work with the bars you currently have.

Then for a kayak carrier the Yakima JayLow part # Y04073 would be a great option. It is padded, installs easily, can fold down when not in use, and can carry two kayaks. It comes with straps for one kayak. So for additional straps you'd want to use the part # y04031 and you'd be set.
