1998 Newmar Kountry Star Kwikee Step 32 Series Replacement Motor

Question:

Kwikee Series 32 Serial No. 180297. I suspect I need replacement motor because often the steps wont work until I tap on the motor with a hammer while the wife opens/closes the door. Wondering which replacement motor should I order. Im thinking its the Lippert Components 379608 Step Motor Replacement Kit For Pre-IMGL, but would like to confirm before placing the order. Any time you have to hit an electric motor with a hammer to get it to decide it's going to work it's time to replace it as there's some bad windings in it. Due to the age of your RV being a 1998 you have the older style of Kwikee 32 series step so what you'll want is the replacement motor part # LC379608.
