Can Quadruple Step Replace Triple Step of 2002 Jayco designer 27RKS

Question:

I have a 2002 Jayco designer 27 rks fifth wheel ,I would like to replace the original 3 step with a 4 step, what would you recommend?

I pulled up pictures of your 2002 Jayco Designer 27RKS and it appears to have a pull-out triple step installed on it. It is possible that a 4 step pull out step could fit in it's place like the Alumi-Tread part # LC432698 but you'd want to measure the width of your current mounting brackets and available space to determine if it would fit.

I attached a couple pictures that have some of the dimensions of the steps for you to check out. Basically when these are folded out they will hang down a total of 30-3/4 inches and the overall width of the mounting brackets is 28 inches. You'd need to compare that to what you'd have currently to see if it would fit. Worst case scenario you'd have to move your current brackets, weld the steps directly or install new outriggers like # LC301704.
