Should Titan Model 60 Actuator be Replaced if Theres Left to Right Play on Inner Section
Question:
There seems to be a lot of slop on my coupler. The coupler part that hooks onto the trailer hitch ball that moves in and out has a lot of slop side to side. This is what I think is making my tow dolly sway really bad like a tail wagging on a dog. Is there some kind of bushing that makes that coupler fit tighter into the housing or should I just replace the surge coupler?

If you are getting a lot of left and right play in your Titan Model 60 actuator that would indicate it's internally damaged or it has a very high amount of wear and either way needs to be replaced. For an exact replacement we have the part # 099-175-20 which is for disc brakes or the # T43329007K for a drum application.
