If HydraStar Brake System # HBA16 Isnt Using Breakaway Switch Where Would Yellow Wire Go

Hello I installed the hydrastar and Im not using the breakaway switch. Where does the yellow wire go if not using the switch.

If you weren't using the breakaway switch of the HydraStar actuator part # HBA16 the yellow wire basically just wouldn't get ran anywhere. You'd need to tape it up out of the way. Basically when the switch gets pulled it puts 12 volts on the yellow wire which tells the actuator to apply the trailer brakes so if this wasn't to be used (not the best option since it's not safe) this wire wouldn't get ran anywhere.
You'll want to verify with your local DMV/DOT that it's legal to run your trailer without a breakaway kit. I attached a help article link on breakaway kits for you to check out as well.
