Which Wireless Remote Fits Bulldog Winch Trailer Winch # BDW10029

Question:

controller plug on BD20156 - why does the connector not fit directly on a Bulldog 10029 winch? I am considering purchasing a Bulldog trailer winch BDW10029 and I would also like to have a wireless remote for this winch, which your product docs say is part number BDW20156. It seems that since this wireless remote comes from Bulldog and is the recommended accessory for the 10029 winch, that the controller plug should match up with the the receptacle on the winch? Am I missing something? it looks like the plug receptacle for the wired remote switch is round with 3 wires inside and the plug which is shown on the wireless remotes docs show a rectangular white plug with 4 wires. I just want to make sure I am getting the right accessory to go with the winch I am planning to buy. Thanks in advance!

The Wireless Remote kit part # BDW20156 that you referenced is the correct kit for the Bulldog Winch # BDW10029 that you also referenced. The square plug of the remote does not connect directly to the round plug of the wired remote which is why the connector styles do not have to totally match.
