Will the Camper Tie-Downs for a 2016 Nissan Frontier Fit a 2018 Nissan Frontier?

Hi there, We need to secure a slide in camper on a 2018 Nissan Frontier. Unfortunately I cannot find tie downs for the 2018 Frontier anywhere. I was told it would not work to use 2016 models, but I believe there has been no change in the truck, so I am wondering why they will not work. Any help or insight is much appreciated! We have already put a deposit on the truck and have to pick it up soon! Thanks

There are not any custom tie-downs for your 2018 Nissan Frontier at this time. I reached out to my contact at Torklift and they haven't confirmed a fit one way or another for the 2017 or 2018 models for # TLN2409 as of 5/2019.

You may want to consider the Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs - Bed Mount - Black Powder Coated Steel - Qty 4 # HSAB for campers a little wider than the bed of your truck or the Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs - Bed Mount - Black Powder Coated Steel - Qty 4 # HSSF. I've attached dimensional photos for each of these to assist.

These tie-downs have a few limitations. The external bed rail width cannot exceed 5-1/2" and the mount requires at least 2" of space beneath lip of bed rail. They are not compatible with drop-in bed liners unless cut away in mounting locations, plastic bed rails, double-walled beds, or side-step beds.

With these universal tie-downs you can use the Brophy Basic Turnbuckles w/ Hardware for Camper Tie-Downs - 3,000 lbs - Qty 4 # TDHP.
