How to Determine if Roadmaster Spare Wheel Carrier Will Obstruct Rear Door When Folded Down
Question:
Just wanted to be certain ... will the Roadmaster 195225 hitch mounted spare tire carrier work on my 2019 Winnebago Travato? I assume I could lower the carrier to the left to open the rear right door and vice versa, but will the stationary part of the carrier below the pivot point obstruct the opening of the doors? Looks like it sticks up about a foot or so above the hitch.

Expert Reply:
When the Roadmaster spare wheel and tire carrier part # rm-195225 is folded down it will sit 12-1/8 inches above the top of the hitch tube it installs into. You'd need to measure from the top of your hitch tube up to see if it would obstruct your rear door. See picture and attached review video for this for more info.
