Roof Rack Recommendation for 2000 Honda CR-V for Roof Top Tent
Question:
looking for a roof rack that can support a roof top tent on a 2000 crv. below are the specs for the rtt. •Crossbar rating: 140 lbs. •Minimum crossbar length: 48? •Minimum distance between bars: 30? •Suggested distance between bars: 36?- 42? •Crossbar maximum size: 4? wide 3? tall •Any shape bar will work aero preferred •This set-up will support 600 lbs. when parked one concern is trucks in opposite direction ripping both the tent and the rack off the car.

For your 2000 Honda CR-V with factory raised side rails we have the Yakima Jetstream # Y00425, and # Y00147 which would work well. This can have a spread of up to 45 inches but is adjustable since it can install anywhere on the rails and has a 165 lb weight capacity so it would be more than strong enough. The bars are also 50 inches long.
