Expert Reply:

Each pair of roller bunks like part # DL21741 and # DL21740 are designed to support up to 3,000 lbs. Adding additional roller bunks raises the capacity which can be loaded on them,

Lets say that the gross weight of your trailer is 6,000 lbs fully loaded, fueled and ready to travel. This means that you would need at least 2 sets of roller bunks to support the weight of your boat.

Since your bunks are 8 foot long you would be able to use the 4 foot roller bunks, # DL21740. You would need 4 sets, two sets on each side of the trailer, to properly support the full length of your boat.
