Trailer Hitch for a 2008 Honda Accord
Question:
I have a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P Sedan. I will be towing at most, 750lbs jetski. I need to know if the C11496 Trailer Hitch would be appropriate? Also, would it be necessary to have the hitch welded or would the bolts be sufficient?

Any of the hitches listed for your 2008 Accord would work great for you. They are all rated at 2,000 lbs. Do not weld the hitch. It will come with all the necessary installation hardware.
I would recommend the Curt part # C11496.
You will also need the wiring harness, part # 118420 to provide lighting for your trailer, and the appropriate trailer ball, the size that you need (1-7/8 or 2 inch with a 3/4 inch diameter shank) should be stamped on the trailer coupler. For a 2 inch ball, use part # 19258 or # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
I have also linked you to a video showing the wiring being installed. The video shows the same part being installed on a 2008 Civic, but the procedure on your Accord would be similar enough that the video should be helpful to you.
