Wiring Diagram for Installing iRV Wall-Mounted Multimedia Receiver IRV64FR

Question:

Want to replace the Jensen AWM975 stereo in my 5th wheel. Is the iRV64FR connectors the same as the Jensen? Not worried about size as I can adapt that, but I am wondering about the electrical, speaker connections. Are they the same as the current Jensen connections? Also, will the iRV64FR play BluRay discs? Thx!

Yes, the iRV Wall-Mounted Multimedia Receiver # IRV64FR will have similar connections to your Jensen stereo and will make a good replacement. I linked a wiring diagram for you that shows the various input/output connections including the wire colors for each speaker. The complete owner's manual will be sent to you as well.

This unit has the ability to accept sources via the USB/SD card input, AM/FM tuner and Bluetooth and
it can play CDs and DVDs but does not play BluRay discs.

The iRv # IRV64FR also has a built-in subwoofer output that allows you to add a powered subwoofer for added bass impact for music and movies. We offer surface-mount subwoofers from Jensen such as # JMPSW800 (200 watts) that are easy to add to your existing stereo.

Hi, I just bought a iRV 34 and have put it into my camper replacing a ZX75 and it will play cd's inside the camper but the outside I just get radio even when the CD is playing. There seems to be a problem and I can not figure it out so maybe you can. Thanks, Sincerely,

I'm honestly not sure. This could be a wiring issue but maybe the stereo just isn't on the right source, too. Flip through the various sources on the unit to see if anything allows CD audio to be played through your outside zone speakers. If this doesn't work I would try a good ol'e reset - press and hold down the power button for 5 seconds to do this.

@KyleW these have a separate source and volume for the #3 channel. If you push/hold the channel 3 button (says source below) you will see z3 on the screen followed by whatever source it is using. Press mode to change source and use the volume knob to change how loud it is.

@ChrisR I'm installing the iRV34, the one that is installed right now had a constant power wire, which color will be the constant power wire be with these wire harnesses?
