How to Pick Out Dust Cap Replacement for Trailer Hub
Question:
Why doesn’t someone make a cage that goes over dust cap that attaches to 2 lug nuts? Ow why don’t they make a hub with screw on dust cap?

There are screw on dust cover caps but they are only seen typically with oil bath hubs. If your dust cap is falling off it might be that your current cap is too small and you need a slightly larger one. What I'd recommend you do is measure the hub bore where your current cap installs with a digital caliper part # PTW80157 and then check out the link I attached that has all of the caps we offer. Use the filters on the page to narrow down the results to find the correct size.
