How to Change Camera Location on Furrion RV Observation System

Question:

When I received the camera package, the camera was already paired with camera # 1 door and I need to know how to pair it as camera # 4 back..Can it be unpaired and paired again for another location?

Yes, to pair the included camera for your Furrion RV Observation System # FOS05TASF to a different location name on the monitor you will first need to select "PAIRING" under the menu options. Once selected you will select the desired camera on the monitor, which in your case will be "4 REAR/BACK CAM". Then press the "MONITOR PAIRING" button on the bottom of the camera itself for 3 seconds.

This will pair the camera and sync it with the desired location on the monitor.

You can definitely have all your views show up at one time on the Furrion Vision S monitor. To do this go to the "Auto Display" setting under "Setup". From here you can select either "Quad Split" or "H Split" (I think "H Split" is better for your application). This will then put all your views onto the monitor at the same time.

@ChrisR - I have this system installed and can not get the monitor to stay on view all. When I select view all the cameras show perfectly. But after about 30 seconds it will go back to a full view of the last camera it was on. Do you know how to get it to stay on view all mode? Thanks

I wonder if this is being cause by the auto off feature on the monitor. Select the "LCD Auto Off" setting on the menu and highlight the "x" while in there. This should turn that feature off and hopefully the multi-view setup remains on at all times.

Follow up question to the above: If my rear view observation camera is set to the #1 position door security instead of #4 position rear view/observation, does it really matter as long as I know this? Next time I get the ladder out and climb up for any reason, I can change it, but for now, can I just leave as is? I had a problem at first figuring out how to “flip” the view! It made it appear as though we were driving in England on the wrong side of the road. But finally got that changed, for now anyway. Thanks guys!

There's absolutely no problem with this. As you mentioned, as long as you "know" that the camera positions are wrong and it doesn't cause too much frustration, there doesn't have to be a rush to change the settings. I try to make ladder use as infrequent as possible too.

Thanks Chris! I’ll get the position changed eventually, but right now its working very well (now that I’ve got the view flipped). Appreciate you and the rest of the team at eTrailer—y’all are the best!
