Cause for Kodiak Disc Brake Guide Bolt Sleeve Bushing to Back Out
Question:
Hi, Just wondering why the rubber bushing on these calipers keep walking out during normal use. I have replaced and reinstalled them several times on both new and used calipers. Rubber Bushing Slips out.

According to my contact at Rockwell American the most common reason for the guide bolt sleeve bushing # K338RB to walk out of the caliper assembly is incorrect lubrication. You can refer to the linked photo that shows where to, and where not to, apply silicone based grease. Do not use a petroleum base grease.
