Front Hitch for 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500
Question:
Is this the only option available for my vehicle? I would like to possibly put a bike rack up front but 500.00 for a receiver seems pretty expensive. I have a ladder bike rack I purchased from etrailer. But it looks like going to be tough putting 2 bikes on it without risk of scratching my rv. Therefor looking for another option.

A front htich is a great way to add carrying capacity for a bike rack without interfering with turning clearance if you also happen to be towing a trailer. Currently the only front hitch we have for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 is the EcoHitch model # 306-X7352. The hitch's price reflects the fact that it is USA-made and also made from an alloy that is produced only from US-sourced recycled materials.
If you do not have a rear hitch we do offer these for your Sprinter 3500 as well. The correct hitch depends on your wheelbase and bumper type. You can refer to the linked page to select your Sprinter's wheelbase and bumper configuration from the drop-down menu tool. As an example, if you have the 170-inch wheelbase and factory step bumper you can use Curt rear hitch # 13358.
We do have other bike carrier options including bumper-mount racks like # S80501 and # S80605 and towing racks that fit on your ball mount such as # S64664. The linked article may give you some helpful ideas on your best option.
