Underhood Connections Needed to Power the 12 Volt Power Source Circuit of a 2006 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Troubleshooting No Power in Trailer Connector on a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 Question: I have no power at the plug in the rear of the vehicle for the full time 12 volt conecter. I have checked all the fuses in the under hood box and cant find a bad one. is ther another fuse located somewhear I cant find? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

It sounds like you still need to make a few underhood connections on your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 before the 12 volt power circuit of your vehicle will be activated. Check out the FAQ article I attached that shows how these connections are made.
Basically you will have to install a couple fuses and run a wire to a positive power post and you should be good to go.
