When comparing weight distribution systems, you want to look at the total tongue weight range on each system. The total tongue weight consists of the trailer tongue weight when completely loaded and ready to go and then you also add any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. Ideally you want your total tongue weight to be as close to the middle of that range as possible.
The Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # RP66560 has a total tongue weight range between 600 and 1,200 lbs. The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37120ET is rated for 800-1200 lbs. The biggest difference between these is the equalizer comes with a hitch ball but needs a specific socket # ALL643216 for installation where the Reese system requires a hitch ball # 19286. The Reese system uses brake pad material where the Equal-i-zer system uses metal on metal friction to help control trailer sway. In theory this will be less noisy.
My recommendation for your application is the larger Reese Steadi-Flex # RP66561. This is based on the total tongue weight rating of 700 lbs - 1,400 lbs. Typically a tongue weight is between 10-15% of the total weight and you'd be right at the max with a 1,200 lb system. I recommend having a little more breathing room with this system which will also use the hitch ball # 19286.
I've attached an article to help with more information on weight distribution and sway control to assist.
