Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2014 Ford F-350

Question:

Can you tell me which 5th wheel hitch I need for a 2014 F350 long bed, to haul a 35foot 5th wheel with a tongue weight of 16k...I have no idea if thats loaded or not. Im new at all of this.

The fifth wheel hitch I recommend for your 2014 Ford F-350 with an 8 foot bed is the Reese Select Plus part # RP30928 as it has a 20k capacity which is more than you'd need to be safe, has a jaw system that's easy to use, and the jaw holds the king pin very tightly which will give you a very smooth ride quality.

To install the hitch in the bed of your truck will require a rail kit which attaches to the truck frame. For that you'd want a custom install kit as it will minimize drilling and install time. For that you'd want the part # RP50026-58 which is custom fit for your truck specifically. I attached an install video for this kit on a very similar 2014 Ford F-250 as yours as well.
