Can Thule Tracker Roof Rack Fit 2012 Honda CR-V With Flush Mounted Rails

Question:

I have a Tracker II roof rack system that was originally purchased for my Leer Camper Shell. I was wondering if there is a replacement foot base that would allow it to mount to the flush factory bars on my 2012 Honda CR-V.

While there is a way to add a high-quality but cost-effective roof rack to your 2012 Honda CR-V with flush-mounted rails, there is not a way to mount the Tracker II rack top your vehicle as it was discontinued six years ago.

The best option will be a new roof rack and I strongly recommend checking out the Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack # RRRVP33 because it is both functional - with a capacity of 165 lbs so you can carry plenty of gear - and is a more economical option than other high-quality roof racks without sacrificing quality, which is evidenced by the rack's lifetime warranty.

This roof rack gets its strength from the anodized aluminum construction of its crossbars, which is a lightweight but highly durable material that ensures strength but also resists corrosion to keep the bars free from rust.

The Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack # RRRVP33 have low-profile aerodynamic bars for a much quieter ride than other roof racks without aero bars; these bars, combined with the rubber vortex strips in the top channels, reduce the amount of noise you might otherwise experience.

Additionally, this rack offers security in the form of built-in locks which secure the bars to your roof and will secure any channel-mounted carriers to the bars, helping protect your investment.

I have added a link to a video showing this rack being installed on a CR-V as well as a photo showing what it looks like when completely installed on a CR-V so you can see how it will look on your car.
