Trailer Brake Controller Port Location, 1999 Chevy Silverado to Install Voyager Brake Controller
Question:
I have a 1999 build date July 1998 Chevy Silverado Z71. It has the factory trailer towing package. I want to install a Voyager #9030 controller. I do not have an adaptor harness but need one. I also need to know exactly where on the convience center that the new harness plugs. Are all the necessary connections existing in my convience center and new harness without having to run additional wires? Thanks

In the power distribution box, located under the dash in the very back left corner, you will plug in the brake controller adapter, # 3025-P. You will want to plug it into the empty spot in the top row, second from the left. There may also be some connections that you will need to make under the hood of the truck to make everything fully functional. I have included a link to an FAQ article that explains the connections.
