AC Unit Recommendation for Enclosed Cargo Trailer that is Insulated

Question:

Hello, I have a 6 x 10 cargo trailer that I have insulated with one inch foam board. Walls, ceiling, rear doors, and floor. Also sealed all cracks and crevices I would like to add cooling to this trailer. What brand and BTU size of a/c would you recommend to get the most cooling? Also can the a/c be ran while traveling , with the generator that is mounted on the tongue? Thank you.

The Advent Air Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # ACM135 that you referenced would work great for your application but since you'll also need the ceiling vent and thermostat your best option is the # ACM135C which is a kit that includes that as well. This will give you great cooling for the smaller room and since you've done a great job insulating the room it will stay cool longer and easier. I am sure some people have successfully ran a generator while travelling but we do not recommend it. Also the unit may not be able to draw air properly like it needs to do with that much wind.

The wattage needed to operate this is:

Starting: 5807 watts
Running: 1450 watts
