Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2007 Ford E-450 Chassis on Old U-Haul Truck
Question:
I have a 2007 E450 with a step bumper, the frame rails end about 14 inch short of the back edge of the bumper, do you have anything for this application. The truck is a retired U-Haul

Expert Reply:
Since the frame ends so far short of the bumper, I recommend the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" # 41990-07. Then you will need to use a hitch extender like # C45795 which will reduce your overall towing capacity to 3,500 lbs and 350 lbs tongue weight but you will still be able to tow any trailer within that range.
