Recommendation to Convert Factory 4-Way on 2009 Nissan Pathfinder to 7-Way Connector
Question:
Will this product fit on my 2009 Nissan Pathfinder? I’m trying to go from the factory installed 4 flat to a 7 blade to pull a camper. I found the 2 connectors under the drivers side, but there isn’t a connector for the relay wiring under the panel on the passenger side. Is it located somewhere else? I couldn’t find any videos specific to a Pathfinder install. If this product won’t work, can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I do have a solution for you, however the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118266 that you referenced will not work on your 2009 Nissan Pathfinder since it came with the factory 4-Way connector. This is because the pins on the factory ports of your particular model differ than what the T-One Harness is designed to plug into. It is only a fit for the Nissan models that did not come with any kind of connector/tow package.
To convert the existing 4-Way on your Pathfinder to a fully functional 7-Way you will want to use the Wiring Kit # ETBC7. This kit includes a 7-Way harness that will plug into the 4-Way on your Pathfinder along with all the additional wiring and circuit breakers needed to run and activate the 12V and brake output circuits on the 7-Way connector.
I have attached the complete installation instructions that you can take a look at along with a general video demonstration.
