I have a 2003 newmar moutain aire with the 45 degree hitch 20k gvw will this hitch work?

We need to know which pin box model you have on your Newmar Mountain Aire 38 rlpk to determine what cushioned pin box will fit. You need to check the current pin box looking for the model number of it. Common models are the Lippert 1621 or 1116. With that info we can determine what you'd need.
The Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC369535 you referenced fits the Lippert 1621 so if that's what you have this would work well. There isn't a way for me to look up what you have.
