Can an Air Ride Pin Box be Used with Air Bag Suspension Enhancement Installed on Truck

Question:

I was thinking about replacing my current pin box with a Air Ride pin box, is there any conflict, I have air bags on my Ram 3500 which I inflate to 30 pounds when pulling my 5th wheel. I have heard that this is not a good combination. Thanks

Air suspension enhancement can work fine with a cushioned air-ride pin box. The two systems would be totally fine together. What you might be thinking of is that it isn't recommended to run a cushioned fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter with a cushioned pin box on a trailer.

If your trailer has a Lippert 1621 pin box on it currently the Trailair Flex Air part # LC328492 that you referenced would fit it and work well to provide you with a smoother ride quality. The Flex Air pin boxes are among the nicest cushioned pin boxes around so they would work well for you.

If your have a different pin box check out the link I attached to see all of the cushioned pin boxes we carry. You would need to select your pin box from the filters to see what fits.
