Troubleshooting Red Light Staying on With Even Brake Braking System
Question:
I have an EvenBrake that has worked in the past but now when I hook it up and press the test button, it presses the break pedal twice but not the third time as before. Then the red light comes on the unit indicating a failure. The receiving monitor doesnt show any error message but just says Even Brake on the display. Any ideas? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
If the red light on the Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System # RM-9400 remains on and "Even Brake" is staying on the issues is the monitor is not getting a clear signal from the RoadMaster Transmitter for Even Brake Systems # RM-9420.
As you can see from the cut out of the instruction manual, you should be able to solve this by either moving the transmitter higher, or moving the monitor in your motorhome.
