Does Rhino-Rack HD Mounting Kit Need to be Used for the Pioneer Platform Tray on Yakima OverHaul HD

Hello. Will this part work with my Yakima Overhaul crossbars? What are the channel/t-slot dimensions of the Yakima HD bars?

The Yakima OverHaul HD, like part # Y01151-58, uses T-Slots that are 1/4" deep, 13/16" wide, and the top slot is about 3/8" wide so you can actually use the regular T-Bolts that come with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform. The Mounting Kit # RR43105 that you referenced is designed for the Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty crossbars which actually have a bigger T-Slot than standard crossbars.

If you don't already have a Pioneer Platform tray then you can use either the 48" x 38" part # RR42114BF or the 58" x 47" part # RR42115BF with the OverHaul HD ladder rack.
