Is B&W Companion Hitch Really Compatible with Sidewinder Pin Box and Wedge

There is a sticker on my hitch stating not to use the wedge and Sidewinder. True?

You can use a Sidewinder and wedge with the B and W Companion hitch for the Ford hitch prep package part # BWRVK3300 that you have. There are versions of this hitch that can't be used with Sidewinders and since they use the same head the sticker ends up on both versions of the hitch which I admit is confusing.
The difference between Companions that can be used with a Sidewinder and the ones who can't is actually the base of the hitch. If the hitch has a base that only attaches with a center post for a gooseneck hitch the twisting torque of the Sidewinder will damage the hitch. Now if the hitch connects to the truck in four corners like your hitch does it's totally fine.
So you can use this hitch with the Sidewinder part # RP34FR that you referenced and the correct wedge would be the # SWW-06.
