2500 with Ram boxes. Can I convert my pin Box on my 38 camper to a gooseneck set up

To use a fifth wheel hitch with a gooseneck set up on your 2014 Ram 2500 you would normally need to use a Goose Box such as # RP85FR.

The is going to be an issue with turning clearance when using a Goose Box which means really the only way for you to safely tow your fifth wheel trailer with your 2014 Ram 2500 that has a RamBox is by replacing your pin box with a Sidewinder, which moves the pivot point of your trailer back 22 inches.

To find the correct Sidewinder what you will need to know is the manufacturer and model number of the pin box on your fifth wheel and match that with the correct replacement. For example, Sidewinder # RP34FR will replace Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD, Fabex 663 and 665, as well as M&M 663 and 665 pin boxes.
