Recommended Base Rail Kit for 20K PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2006 Ford F-250
Question:
Hi, I have a 2006 F250 super Duty truck and I want to put a Pullrite 20K super glide hitch in it. When I go to the fitment section the only option is for a standard cab truck. Is this an error because I dont understand what the difference would be between the bed on a standard cab truck and the bed on a crew cab . Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

Since you have an automatic sliding PullRite SuperGlide 20K 5th wheel hitch it sounds like you have the 6-3/4' bed on your 2006 Ford F-250. As long as you have the PullRite that is compatible with industry standard base rails (ISR) then I recommend going with the Custom Base Rail Kit # RP50082-58 as it doesn't require you to drill into your frame like the Universal Base Rail Kit # RP30035 does.
I am not sure where you are seeing that you have to choose your cab length but neither us nor PullRite have that built into our fitguide system (as of April 2019). The great thing about the Custom and Universal rail kits that I referenced above is that they will fit your F-250 whether you have the 6-3/4' bed or the 8' bed!
Attached are some installation videos that you can reference. Please note that some of the SuperGlide 5th wheel hitches will only fit custom PullRite kits. As long as you have the one compatible with ISR then you can use the Reese kits I mentioned above.
If you don't already have a 7-Way connector in the bed of your pickup then I also recommend installing the Bargman # 50-97-410 to make connecting/disconnecting your trailer wiring much easier.
