Which Hitch for 2019 Subaru Forester Sticks Out Furthest for Folding Up Platform Bike Rack
Question:
I have a fold up Thule bike rack. On my 2013 outback, it barely cleared the bumper when it folded up. Between the Curt and the Drawtite, which will give me more clearance between the end of the hitch and the bumper? The Drawtite video shows 5 inches of clearance, is the curt more, the same, or less? Thanks

The Curt hitch part # C13409 is the hitch you'll want as it sticks out the furthest relative to the rear bumper. If you check out the attached picture you'll see that this puts the hitch opening almost flush with the rear bumper whereas the Draw Tite is quite a bit more recessed.
The Draw Titch part # 76271 does allow the Kuat NV # NV22G to fold up. I attached a review video that shows this rack demoed on a 2019 Forester with the Draw Tite hitch and towards the end of the video you can see it's able to fold up.
