Slider Hitch Recommendation for 2019 Ford F-350 with Factory Rail Kit

Question:

Ihave a ford 2019 f350 with 69foot box dont really want slider hitch but when I look at your directions on checking clearance on trucks when you measure from kink pin to corner of fifth wheel do you angle back to corner or go straight across in a 8foot wide fifth wheel straight across would make that 4 ft which dont seem right.thanks for your reply

The width dimension of a trailer for determining if you'd have enough turning clearance is the overall width without angling back. An 8 foot wide trailer nose is a pretty common size so I am not surprised that's what you have. With a short bed truck like your 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty with the factory rail kit you would need a slider hitch to ensure you have enough turning clearance. For that the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3370 would be the best option.
