Parts Needed To Install Curt Echo Brake Controller in 2017 Nissan Armada without Trailer Wiring

Question:

I recently purchased a 2017 Armada and discovered that it has no factory-wired harnesses for hooking up trailer lights or brake controllers. Will the two items, that I listed in the subject box, work on my Armada? I have been to the Nissan Dealer, where they told me they have no after-market products for hard wiring for trailer hookups. If your two items will work, can I also get instructional info on istallation. Please let me know if you need any additional info and If I need additional items, that you all sell, to make this work. Thank You,

You'll first need to start with a 4-way on your 2017 Nissan Armada if you do not have one like the part # C59496 which hardwires to your vehicle wiring. Or if you prefer a setup that uses sensors instead and does not require splicing into taillight wiring you'd want the # 119250KIT.

Now all you need to install the Curt Echo # C51180 is a 7-way with the 12 volt accessory circuit active. Which for that we have the part # ETBC7 which comes with everything you'll need. Basically the 4-way mentioned earlier gets plugged into the adapter and then you have to run the wire included up to the positive terminal of your vehicle battery and you'll be set.
