Can Go Power Transfer Switch 342GPTS Control Generator AC Output to Deliver it to Battery Charger

Question:

so I dont see any value in transfer from solar to shore but what about a portable generator? would you consider a generator the same as shore power? I have a 3000 watt inverter powered by solar which handles most of our needs. when needed i have a 3000 watt generator with remote start. Would this unit work when my batteries are getting low if i remote start the generator. I have a a/b switch on my my 12 volt charger.

The Go Power Transfer Switch # 342GPTS that you referenced is intended to give you convenient switching between two AC power sources, such as shore AC power at a campground and AC output from a generator. You can use this transfer switch to take your generator's AC output and deliver it to your battery charger to maintain your batteries.
