The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75876 is a fit for your 2017 Subaru Forester XT. It is a confirmed fit for all Forester trim models between years 2014 and 2018. I've attached a video of the installation to assist as well as a photo to help with the visual.
This hitch will work well for towing or for any accessory use like bike racks or cargo carriers. The installation is also easy.
