Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2008 Chevy Express 3500 Van
Question:
I have a 2008 Chevrolet express 3500 van without the factory tow package. Do i need a taillight converter or can I just use the basic T connector install and be done. Thanks

Since you do not have the factory tow package on your 2008 Chevy Express 3500, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118392. This harness installs to the wiring harnesses located behind the trim panels in your rear cargo area on each side. If you just need the 4-way there is nothing else needed.
If you need a 7-way then you will additionally use kit # ETBC7. This will use the 4-way and give you wiring, circuit breakers, and connectors needed to add the additional features. I recommend using the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR if you need to add a brake controller for a trailer with electric or electric over hydraulic brakes.
